Good Morning everbuddy! Today's garden post is about things you can Nom in the garden.
On our last trip out, Momma picked some things from the garden that SHE could nom. Some late snow peas, a pepper and some lettuce.
She said it would make several salads. We don't like salad but she does.
And look at this. It's our pumpkin from Halloween. We didn't carve it because Momma said we could EAT it! I didn't believe her....I mean, how can you eat a pumpkin?! But look what she did:
She cut up the pumpkin and cooked it in the crock pot until it was tender and squishy......
And turned the pumpkin into muffins!! How Nommy is that?
But for US, the best thing in the garden is the grasshoppsters!

What a super duper post! Them punkin muffins look totally NOMMIE!!! And you are a great and mighty hunter to get that grasshopper! Kudos to you!

LOL I must say that I love the snap pea noms the best as well as the pumpkin.

There's lots of good stuff to nom on in your garden! That's pretty neat how your mom can put chopped up pumpkin in your crock pot and it turned into muffins!
Alice that is such a cute picture of you! And wow you have a lot of tasty stuff from the garden - those muffins looked yummy but so did the salad fixins! Your mom is good at growing stuff!
That looks like a great harvest! I don't like salad, but Deli does! She's weird...I'd love to try a grass hoppster though!
Mom is so scared of hopper she had to turn away.
